The track moves slowly and the dogs go out of view. Check your computer has at least DirectX 6.1 installed and your graphics card adapter has the minimum recommended of 8mb memory, as this is most probably the cause.
My numbers don't work when trying to enter the greyhound statistics. This problem has been fixed and any downloads after the 5th May 2002 will be ok. If you downloaded Greyhound Predictor before this date, or your version doesn't have v1.01 in the bottom left corner of the main menu screen then you will need to uninstall your current version and re-download Greyhound Predictor v1.0.

I'm receiving the message: Direct 3D Create 8 Failed. Please check you have at least DirectX™ version 8.1 installed on your computer and your card is compatible.
I'm receiving the message: Unable to set graphics card format or Unable to select display format. Check your graphics card is capable of 32, 24 or 16 bit colour. Note: When running Greyhound Predictor in 24 or 16 bit mode some colours and shading will be incorrect.
I'm receiving the message: Create D3d Device Failed. Open the Greyhound Predictor configuration utility (Start -> Programs -> Greyhound Predictor v2.0 -> Configuration), untick run in 32bit mode and select "Save Changes". If this does not solve the problem check your graphics card is compatible with DirectX™ version 8.1.
I've got a square grid or black lines on the track. This problem has currently only been reported on one specific make of graphics card, if you are having this problem please contact us for advise.

How do I find out what graphics card and directx version I have and if they are compatible. Start -> Run -> type "dxdiag" -> Ok. On the first screen is the DirectX™ version you have installed. Select the "Display" tab to view your graphics card details including memory size. If you have DirectX™ version 8.1 or higher installed, pressing "Test Direct3D" will test your cards compatibility.
